Playmobil, “en avant les histoires”… a Christmas tale !
At Pixelis, for every project we are given, our expertise always involves thinking up a story. So, as a brand telling agency, we were delighted when we were commissioned by Playmobil which shares our values and positioning through its historic tag line “en avant les histoires”. And the lucky creative team picked to work on this case was just as excited as the kids who’d be discovering their Playmobil gifts under the Christmas tree.
The objective was to make the brand emerge in the world of Christmas gifts to help it gain back its voice as a category leader in the face of increasingly fierce competition. We positioned Playmobil as The Christmas Brand, the medium for every story the children would make up. The agency opted to capitalize on all of the holiday’s classic codes (Santa, sled, tree, etc.) and to incorporate them into the brand world.
Pixelis tells the Playmobil story to young and old through a beautiful tale: a Santa Claus who puts gifts under the tree and from which the little emblematic figures tumble out.
